Jack Crevale, Snook, Redfish, Trout, Snapper and many others. Offshore in the
Gulf of Mexico, natural and artificial reefs are habitats for Cobia,
Spanish and King Mackerel, Grouper, Bonita, Blackfin Tuna and many other
varieties. Whether you are catching a 100 pound tarpon on a fly rod or a 20
pound snook on 10lb test line, you’ll find the fishing here world class, second

Treasures to enjoy and preserve. Strung along the coast of Southwest
Florida, CapeHaze Peninsula will hold one
spell bound. Bald Eagles are found nesting in the pine groves, Ospreys build
nests of large sticks and sea grass atop pole-like structures, the Great Blue
Heron and American White Egrets are spotted wading through estuaries along the
shore.
American White Pelicans and Brown Pelicans dive and plunge for their fish food
in the turquoise waters, working around the West Indian Manatees grazing on sea
grasses and mangrove leaves. The Bottlenose Dolphin are usually not far away
frolicking and diving in both bay and Gulf waters. And of course we’d be remiss
not to brag about the great Loggerhead and Green Sea Turtles that grace the
Gulf waters and nest their hatchlings along our beaches from May through
October each year. The hatching of baby sea turtles is a natural wonder that
will captivate your heart forever.
